Another Candidate for The Sword of Constantine Court
A meeting of The Sword of Constantine Court No.120 was held at the Croydon Masonic Hall on Monday 7th March. Present was our Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VW.Bro. Mark Donovan, KAG, PGSwdB.

As our Worshipful Master, W.Bro. Glyn Harvey, was unable to attend, the Immediate Past Master, W.Bro. Terry Carpenter, opened the Lodge. Most Officers had to assume other roles that afternoon. The Eminent Prior was W.Bro. George Rodger, the Senior Warden was W.Bro. Chris Eley; the Junior Warden was VW.Bro. Mark Donovan, the Director of Ceremonies was W.Bro. Duncan Maguire, the Provincial Deputy Marshal, the Captain of the Guard was Bro. Norman Jones, and the Guard was W.Bro. Derek Chartres, who had come all the way over from the Isle of Wight with Duncan.

A ballot was taken for Bro. Mark Daniel Rann which proved in his favour. The Worshipful Master invited W.Bro. Leslie Grout to perform the Ceremony of Instruction. Bro. Mark was Instructed into the Order in an excellent manner by W.Bro. Leslie, ably assisted by the Officers of the Court.
